Communication Committee

The Communication Committee is responsible for coordinating all of the communication functions of MAPCO. The Committee meets as needed. Activities of the Committee include developing, publishing, and distributing the MACPOST newsletter four times per year. The Committee is also responsible for developing and maintaining the MACPO website.

Communication Committee Goals

  • Publish 4 issues of the electronic MACPOST per year.
  • Create new features in MACPOST.
  • Utilize the MACPO website as an educational source and a resource for vendor information.
  • Maintain the MACPO website with current and new features as requested by the Executive Board.
  • Provide leadership to the MACPO website and continue to enhance effective utilization of technology.
  • Communicate to local papers about MACPO award recipients and election results.

Anne spent several years of committing time and talent to the MACPO Communications Committee, and creating the MACPOST, as well as her many years of service to Chisago County.

Anne will be remembered for her dedication and committment to her job and our association.

MACPO is proud to announce Quenilla Pettigrew as the recipient for the 2013 Academic Memorial Scholarship. Quenilla hails from Waseca, MN and is currently a senior at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Quenilla is majoring in Corrections with a minor in Sociology and her career goal is to become a probation officer. Congrats to Quenilla for her hard work and dedication to the field of Corrections.
